IV (aka 4 for you non Roman Numeral types) is his model number.
The site is usually pronounced as either ARR-EE-OH-EYE-VEE.com or REE-OH-IHV.com

| Welcome to the hive? |
I wanted something other than REOIV.com for the title of the main page. I was thinking of situations where you have lots of things working together in a group on something and thought of bees. No this doesn't mean I think of myself is a queen or leader. Just the activity and community aspect.
If it bugs you let me know hell if you have a better idea of a front page tag line also let me know.

| What is the deal with the images next to the number of comments? |
| When a thread has so many comments per day or comments total an image pops up bascially to show this is something you should look into. |

| How do I embed a video into my link? |
 First off find a video you like.

When you click the link it takes you to the Youtube page. On the right side of the page there is a section with the embed code. Click in the Embed code box and copy that code.
Then click into the rich text control and click on this button 
It will change the rich text control to HTML. Now paste in your embed code and click this button  to view the rich text again.
At this point your video won't show up in the rich text box. It will show once you submit the post/comment/link/private message etc. Make sure to use the preview link to see that it shows up correctly.
If you are submitting a link with a video in the summary section, please make sure to sum up the video with a few words so that later if someone is looking for it from a search engine etc, they don't have to put in your embed code but can use words in your summary to find it.

| How do I make an image show up / display an image? |
This one is fairly simple. Get the URL of an image you want to show (make sure it is safe for work).
Lets use this Image URL: http://www.reoiv.com/images/random/not_a_tumah.jpg
In the rich text box click on the button that looks like this 
It should pop up a new window. Paster your URL in the top text box, and set your Alternate Text to whatever you want to display when a person mouses over the image or the image can't display for some reason. Then hit submit and your image should show up in the rich text control box.
Now you can submit your comment/link and the image will show up.
Lets say you don't want to use the image pop up for whatever reason and want to code it yourself.
The code to display an image is this:

Which looks like this when displayed with a browser

All submitted links need to be reviewed to make sure they aren't duplicates, that the URL is correct and that they are tagged appropriately.
Otherwise be patient and check back in a bit. |
