Yeah I'd heard about that but then nothing ever came of it.
I think I would prefer they just make big budget sequels to the old movies rather than just reinvent them or re-imagine them.
I want to see more of that character I don't need to see them do their origin over again.

I'm not too sure that I want either. I agree that if forced I would pick the sequels, but usually those suck too.
How many movies have been remade in the last year, two years, five years? I bet the number is quite high. What's that, 75 are planned for 2010 alone?!?!?!

I absolutely love that they're making another Tron. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid.
