Long story short, he heard another officer shoot and kill some dogs and mistook that gun fire as gun fire coming from a room he couldn't see into so he shot blindly into the room and killed the mother and baby.
How in the F*CK does a jury let this sh!t slide?

I'm usually torn on this kind of shit.
On one hand you have a SWAT officer who miserably failed to use the T in SWAT.
On
the other, you have a woman STANDING UP in a room of a house that's
being raided by SWAT. She could have been holding anything and using
the kid as a shield at that point. Why was she not on the ground?
It's freaking SWAT in your house for Christ's sake! If they had to
call those guys you dun f'd up bad and your ass better be on the ground.
Also,
she knows the person they're after is bad, yet she continues to stay in
a house w/an armed drug dealer... w/her baby no less. Not a smart choice.
It's just a bad situation on both sides. The SWAT officer at the very least should be relieved of duty. |
