No right to resist illegal cop entry into home |
|
|
|
5/13/2011 4:30:32 PM |
Indiana's supreme court in a 3-2 decision found that people do not have the right to resist cops breaking into their house illegally. "We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into
a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern
Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that
allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence
and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without
preventing the arrest." Just disgusting. |

No, this is not a joke... although it is fully ripe for spoofing.
"In the event of a terrorist or other attack on the Internet, the key
holders will be flown to an undisclosed location in the U.S. Each key
contains a fragment. If at least five are united, they will form a
master key that can restore the Internet." |

Evolution, Big Bang Polls Omitted From NSF Report |
|
|
|
4/8/2010 6:02:00 PM |
"In an unusual last-minute edit that has drawn flak from the White House
and science educators, a federal advisory committee omitted data on
Americans'
knowledge of evolution and the big bang from a key report. The
data shows that Americans are far less likely than the rest of the world
to accept that
humans evolved from earlier species and that the universe began
with a big bang."

Fire Extinguishers banned because they are a fire risk. |
|
|
|
8/22/2008 3:01:01 PM |
This is more of a nanny state tag, but Big Brother works.
Of course it is England banning fire extinguishers, because they don't want people getting hurt trying to put out fires and would rather they leave the building and leave it to fire fighters.
Holy F*ck is that country screwed.

SWAT Officer Aquitted in killing of mother and child |
|
|
|
8/8/2008 1:28:12 PM |
Long story short, he heard another officer shoot and kill some dogs and mistook that gun fire as gun fire coming from a room he couldn't see into so he shot blindly into the room and killed the mother and baby.
How in the F*CK does a jury let this sh!t slide?
